OUR FACILITIES
Arcos de la frontera
Arcos is located in the northeast of the province of Cadiz. Its area covers 525.4 square kilometers. Its geographical location is as follows: 36º44’33” latitude north and 2º 07 ‘074″ longitude west.
There are more than 30,000 inhabitants in the city centre and its different rural centres. The average temperature is 18 ºC. Maximum temperatures range from 38 to 43 ºC and minimum temperatures from 6 to 14 ºC.
Arcos is the typical mountain village. It rises on a series of cliffs on the right bank of the river Guadalete and in a wide meander forms this river in its middle course.
Its more than three thousand hours of sun a year together with its unique beauty make Arcos the ideal place to rest.
Dear national federations, dear clubs and friends of the polo kayak:
The European Canoeing Association entrusts the Spanish Canoeing Federation, the Municipality of Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz) and the C.D. Canoeing Arcos with the organization of the ECC 2023 European Championship of polo kayaking by clubs.
We thank the European Canoe Association for choosing the city of Arcos de la Frontera as the organizer of this competition, and it is a great pleasure with which we will receive this event on 07 and 08 October 2023.
The Organizing Committee and all the volunteers have experience in organizing sporting events, and will work to the maximum to make this unforgettable for each of the fans of polo kayaking.
We hope everyone will enjoy the visit to our town and the sports show.

CÓMO LLEGAR
Arcos is located in the center of the province of Cadiz and is easily accessible. Good roads link Arcos with the rest of Andalusia and with many interesting places: the Bay of Cadiz, with beaches of fine and golden sand, is less than an hour away; Jerez, just twenty minutes away; and Seville, the capital of Andalusia, takes an hour by car.
The main road is the A-382 motorway that connects directly with the N-IV (Cádiz- Madrid), with the A-4 motorway, and also with the regional road A-393 (Espera – Cruce de las Cabeza-Sevilla).
Of course, Arcos is a must stop on the White Villages Route on the A-372.
There are many regular bus services from Arcos to other towns in the province, Seville and Malaga.
We can find train station and airport in Jerez de la Frontera.
